Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Golden Affinity Co. collects through this website, how it is used, and the choices you have. It covers this website only.

What is collected

When you send an inquiry. The contact form asks for your name, email address, company, area of interest, and message. Along with what you enter, the site records the date and time it was sent and your IP address, which helps filter spam. A copy is kept on the website's server as a backup in case an email fails to arrive.

When you browse. This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it: pages viewed, how you arrived, your approximate location (city or region), and your device and browser type. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. The hosting provider also keeps standard server logs (IP address, page requested, and time).

How it is used

Inquiry details are used only to reply to you and to keep a record of the conversation. Analytics data is used to improve the website. Your information is not sold, and it is not used for advertising.

Service providers

A small number of providers help run this site and handle data on its behalf: the web host, Cloudflare (security and delivery), Mailgun (sends inquiry emails), Google Workspace (email), Google Analytics, and Google Fonts (the site's typefaces, which load from Google's servers). Each processes information under its own privacy terms.

Cookies

The site sets one cookie of its own, which keeps the contact form secure and ends when you close your browser. Google Analytics sets cookies that distinguish one visitor from another. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works without them.

How long it is kept

Inquiries are kept as long as needed to respond and for ordinary business records. Google Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months.

Your choices

You can ask what information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live, including Virginia, you may have additional rights under state privacy law; the same address handles those requests.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
